Tee off with Baylor Emergency Medical Centers: Official sponsor of the AT&T Byron Nelson 2015

DALLAS – May 5, 2015 – Baylor Emergency Medical Centers is proud to announce it will be an official sponsor of the AT&T Byron Nelson, to be held May 28-31 at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Irving, Texas.

Funds raised at the golf tournament benefit Momentous Institute, an organization dedicated to education and health programs designed to build and repair kids’ social and emotional health. Baylor Emergency Medical Centers’ sponsorship agreement began last year and will continue into 2016.

“We are really looking forward to another great year with this tour,” said John Wood, CEO of Baylor Emergency Medical Centers. “The AT&T Byron Nelson has a rich history in the community, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity to be involved in making such a tremendous impact on the Momentous Institute.”

Baylor Emergency Medical Centers has also been named the presenting sponsor of KidsZone at the premier sporting event. Located at Hole No. 1, the air-conditioned oasis will feature Xbox entertainment, photo opportunities with the Dallas Mavericks mascots, bounce houses and a miniature putt-putt course, along with other family friendly activities.

“AT&T Byron Nelson promises something for everyone – from the avid golf fans to families,” said Jon Drago, Tournament Director at AT&T Byron Nelson. “KidsZone is a favorite among kids and families and we are grateful that it is made possible through this partnership with Baylor Emergency Medical Centers.”

The annual golf tournament is a tradition in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with roots dating back to 1968. Last year, the event turned out more than 200,000 spectators.
